Julie Burchill is well known as a feminist writer in newspapers and magazines. In order to appreciate the level of written material, and the hatred within it, put out by such people, we give an extract from an article from The Guardian magazine of 26 August 2000.

Amongst the statements is "... grammar schools ... habitually adjusted the marks of boys and girls so that three-quarters of their pupils would not be female ...".

• what investigations or research her facts and conclusions are based on

• how much she gets paid to write this stuff

• who at the Guardian commissioned it and approved it for publication.
